This
pothole that water is flowing into is called Devil's
Kettle. It is part of Devil's Kettle Falls of the Brule
River in which about half of the water flows over the
falls, and the other half plunges into this cauldron.
From this cauldron, it is not certain where the water
ends up. A reasonable speculation, however, suggests the
water follows underground passages out to Lake Superior.
